Henry Cort Street Furniture, International Competition

Charles Normandale was commissioned to design and produce street furniture for West Street, Fareham, Hampshire. This comprised seating, bicycle stands, railing, service bollards, notice boards and the town clock all to be made in wrought iron to commemorate Henry Cort’s invention of the iron puddling system.
